The GCOC Children’s Ministry is all about growing disciples from birth to sixth grade. We focus on building relationships, spending time in God’s Word, and offering opportunities to lead and serve.

Sunday Morning Bible Classes

Our Sunday morning Bible classes are safe, fun, and full of lessons from God’s word.

Nursery

Our youngest children start out in the Nursery from newborn to 2 years old. They learn about God’s Big World and how much God loves us through song, play, and repetition. We also have an attended nursery for this age group during the worship service.

3-5 Years

Our preschool-age kids get to know God through His big stories in the Bible. They do a variety of hands-on activities, crafts, and games to remember the story from God’s Word. Our preschoolers love to move and wiggle, but that doesn’t stop them from learning about God!

K-4th Grade

Each class time starts with the Bible story for the week and then uses different storytelling methods to implant that story on the children’s hearts. Our classrooms focus on different learning components to teach God’s Word.

5th and 6th Grade

Our fifth and sixth graders meet in their own class designed to help them “bridge” the gap between early childhood and their teenage years.  This class focuses on building their own relationship with God through study of His word and through service to others.

Wednesday Night Bible Hour

Wednesday at 6:30pm-7:30pm

Granbury CoC is the place to be on Wednesday nights! While the adults spend time in Praise and Worship during the Uplift Service, the children spend time in Bible Hour!

Bible Hour brings God’s Word to life through praise and worship time followed by a Bible story using pretend play, skits, interactive games, videos, and (sometimes) a lot of silliness with our Drama Team. After the Bible Story, our children split up into small groups by ages and spend time with their small group leaders. In small groups, our kids read the Bible story, discuss application questions, play games, and work on memory verses.
