Prayer is the practice of the presence of God. It is the place where pride is abandoned, hope is lifted, and supplication is made. Prayer is the place for admitting our need, for adopting humility, and claiming dependence upon God. Prayer is the needful practice of the Christian. Prayer is the exercise of faith and hope. Prayer is the privilege of touching the heart of the Father through His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. James 4:8

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, shall guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7

Thank You

To our Granbury church family, Thank you so much for your gifts and love to us and baby Kaiser! We feel deeply blessed to be a part of this generous and kind community of faith! We look forward to introducing the little one to you very soon! Much love, Ali and Mark Kaiser

To My Beloved Brothers and Sister in Christ Jesus, I know that this letter is really not sufficient to express my thanks for your love and support during my recovery from my illness, but I wanted to acknowledge and thank you for taking the time to visit me while I was confined, and for showing your love and support to my wife, Janice, as she supports me in my recovery.

It has been a real blessing to receive your many visits and encouraging words which evidence your love and concern for a brother in need. It has been an encouragement to me to experience your love as you put into action the teachings in scripture.

I am well on my way to recovery. Please continue to pray for me as I complete my rehabilitation and return to my normal activities.

With Gratitude and Thanksgiving, David Casey
