Classes

Granbury COC offers classes for adults on Sundays at 9:00 a.m.

These classes are an informal classroom-style learning environment for adults who are seeking to deepen their understanding of God’s Word revealed to us through Scripture. Courses vary in subject and duration.

College & Young Adults | Room 120

Join this group of college students and young adults in their 20s as they study and apply the teachings of Scripture to real-life situations.

Path-Finders | Room 125

Mostly comprised of couples in their 20s to 40s who still have children at home and enjoy staying connected with each other throughout the week.

Bridge-Builders | Room 126

Primarily people in the 40 to 60 age range who have teens or grown children.

Faith-Builders | Room 121

Primarily recent empty nesters and the parents of teens who are looking to God’s Word for insight as they guide their children into adulthood.

Seekers | Room 107

Mostly members in the 40 to 70 age range with children from teenagers to grown.  They enjoy open discussion and have formed their own Connections Group and get together regularly for fellowship outside of class time.

Victory Class | Room 112

A dynamic, energetic discussion class where each person can share and apply God’s words to his or her daily walk.  Class membership is diverse with ages ranging from 40s to 60s.  Warm fellowship, acceptance and encouragement are abundant.

Neighbors | Room 106

Come and study with some of their colorful characters.  Lively discussions done in brotherly love characterize Sunday mornings.

Challengers | Room 132

A good mix of retired and soon-to-be-retired people in their 60s – 70s.  Several class members have lived in Granbury a long time, but the group always welcomes newcomers to study with them.

Climbers | Room 133

An active, loving and giving group of retired members, with a few who are still working.  Several of the class members have been together since “before the lake.”

LifeGroups

Life Groups are small groups who meet together on a regular basis. These groups are comprised of members of our body and also include a number of our neighbors and friends who have committed to attending.

Some groups meet three to four weeks a month; others meet about every other week. Some meet in the same home each meeting time, and others meet from house to house. Most meet on Sunday afternoons or evenings, but some are meeting on other nights of the week.

There are a variety of subjects studied, but all of them focus on the Scriptures and how they apply to our lives. All of these groups are dedicated to drawing closer together as a group and as an active part of the growing body here at Granbury Church of Christ. All of these groups will be dedicated to reaching out and touching others with the Gospel and with the arms of loving fellowship.

If you know of a group that is meeting and would like to be a part or just visit to check it out, feel free to join the folks who are coming together.

If you would like more information, contact Mark Hackney at and he will be glad to help you.
